"... Hubba hubba? " Ex asked in a confused way, staring up at the sky. She blinked at the Murkrow, not really seeing what was so odd at them. Sure, they where dark-types, but surely, the professor must be smart enough to know that type didn't matter. Although, ML did suddenly become worried when Ladyflicker popped out from her pokéball. " Whatever you say, ma'am. But... aren't they just Murkrow, the pre-evolution of Honchkrow? I mean... why would these creatures be so... dangerous?" Truly, Ex was rather curious. This had never happened. Not ever. Sure, maybe thise Shadegra would be feared, but Murkrow weren't that strong. And four hundred fifty years? Boy oh boy, these Murkrow needed calendars! " Okay... so, is this a bad time for me to... stick around?" Pushing a lock of shiny black hair behind her ears (it had become a habit for her/me), ML stared up at the sky. Murkrow where quite rare... maybe. Fingering the little bumps made by the empty pokéballs, Ex acknowledged what Professor Aspen had told her- picture, yes. Catch... no. Most legendaries where supposed to be nice... ' History's repeating itself... I'm was the best in history class, but this I never heard of. Curses new regions, my teacher didn't teach me anything about it! Or did she... c'mon girl, dig deep. Real deep. Or fight off some of those Murkrow to keep the people in the lab from freaking about about something you don't know,' Well, she was only a normal child in this world. Just with large dreams and the imagination to achieve such goals.

"They are the heralds of the Embrace of Twilight..." Professor Aspen said. "A time when darkness covers the entire land, and the queen of darkness, a Shadegra, appears.... it's a terrifying instance that is only supposed to happen once every five hundred years. It's been fifty since the last time, but Murkrow are only seen here in Seaside when it is that time once again... I don't know why it's happening so early..."
"Professor, Rui said she would rather speak to you face to face, she's on her way..." Lillian reappeared, her turqoise hair hanging in her bright eyes. "She already knows what's going on, Murkrow were sighted up at the League as well. She should arrive soon."
"Very well," Professor Aspen nodded simply and glanced at Ex. "I would advise that you have a flashlight with you, once the Twilight has fully fallen, the region will be nearly pitch black for many days..." she stared upward again. "And then she will come... it has not yet been revealed why, but there must be a reason..."
Perhaps a male has been sighted... males are only shiny so they are indeed rare, but I do not know what the last cause was so it could quite very well be something else, m'lady... said Kiana. She and Ria were both staring at the sky as well.
"I don't know... there's too many mysteries surrounding the legends to be sure of anything..."

"Nothing a really old diary from a really old and creepy mansion could tell us. Pokémon Mansion... to creepy, " Ex noted. Watching the professor and assistant look somewhat frightened, ML decided that she should run off. Waving towards the skilled trainers, Ex rushed off towards some other part of Seaside Village. Oh, what will happen, what will happen. Maybe she should look for the really old looking house? That usually had the answers. Usually. Ladyflicker seemed to run about, glancing upwards to the sky every now and then. Maybe they should leave? Or run. That was better. Oddly enough, the rather playful Firecub was looking rather serious this day. Ex had no idea why, however. This place was really giving her the creeps. Throughout her extensive knowledge of what could happen, she never expected this. Maybe that friend from Kanoa should of spoke up more (I'm joking, Ayra, if you wanna know). A similar occurence had taken place in Hoenn Region, where the sun seemed to flash out through the thick thunder clouds. Where the sky rippled with lightning and roared with thunder. On that day, however, Ex had been vacationing in Sootopolis. Giants the size of dinosaurs rampaged, the creater of the sea sending massive waves at a red, lizard-like being. But when a flash of green appeared, only then did this calamity stop. However, Gourdon, nor Kyogre, or even Rayquaza where dark types. Or could create a swarm of Murkrow. Or... anything. A swarm of ground, water, or flying/dragon types? Maybe... but never of a simgle pokémon. " I'm catching a fighting-type after this. Ladyflicker, come baaack!"
