Yeah. Actually, it was an incident that they made bread, but forgot the yeast, I believe. I don't remember how it went, but they forgot the yeast, and it got hard. Eh, they survived on it, still.

Polly Logan
She's a character from the book 'Fever-1793' by Laurie Halse Anderson. It was that book 'bout the Yellow Fever Epidemic of that time in Philadelphia. Polly was the main character's best friend, and the first sign of the fever as she died in her bed knitting. Very sad, indeed, but a good book nonetheless. We read it in Literature class, so that's where this is comin' from.
