Stretching before you as you leave Seaside Village is your very first route through Lanorae. You'll probably meet up with many other beginning trainers here, as well as many different wild Pokemon. At the end of this route lies the town of Purity Valley.

Route two can't exactly be called a route persay, rather, it's a lake one must cross. There are plenty of boats that are kept here for doing so, but, be warned, Pokemon may still attack as you paddle across. Some stories say that a magestic blue dog-like creature makes this lake its home, is that really true?

Quite possibly, Silver City is one of the largest cities in the Lanorae region. However, for some reason they do not host a gym here, probably because of how busy it is. They do, however, host the Lanorae radio tower and tv station along with a rather large department store.

The third route upon your journey stretches across a great plain where wildflowers grow beautifully. However, at the end of the route a shadow casts itself over th plants, causing them to wilt and die as mists begin to thread through the dirt path.

At the end of route three a dark and forboding forest looms. Many seem to fear stepping into the shadows of these great, dark trees, and quite a few people shudder at the coldness of this mist it is named for. Be cautious on your journey through here...

The fourth route of the Lanorae region seems to, for some reason, be covered in ash. The only resonable explanation for this is that there was once a great fire here, as there are no volcanos nearby.

Also referred to as Shiloh Cave, this tunnel leads to the town of Oakwood Grove. It is rather dark, but that problem can be easily solved with a Pokemon that knows Flash, or you could stumble blindly through the pass, your choice.

As you continue on to route five, the ocean is now in clear view. As a matter of fact, this path winds right past the Lanorae sea of Teirelis, providing sea breezes and bright sunlight. However, also be on the look out for storms...

Another rather busy city, Seastream is still not quite as active as Silver City. However, they do host their own gym, which would be the third on your journey. If you triumph over the gym here, you will recieve the Oceanshore Badge.

Stretching before you now is open ocean, the first true completely water path on your journey. Hopefully, you have at least one Pokemon that knows the technique Surf on you, otherwise you're going to have to rent a boat and miss out on catching sea going Pokemon.

The first stop once you reach the island, Port Town is a rather small village that seems to be based generally around the arts of fishing and trading. Really, it resembles the old age pirate villages of stories, and there seem to be quite a few people that actually do act like pirates.

Route seven is made up of a large, glistening lake. Three Pokemon are said to dwell at the bottom, Pokemon that control the emotions of others. On the far shore stands ruins of ancient times, perhaps you will unlock the mysteries of this lake, and of the ruins.

Believed to be all that remains of a temple that was once know as the Temple of the Sun and Moon, these ancient ruins are filled with different runes and ancient stories that only a select few can translate. Deep within its shadowy corridors, Pokemon still dwell.

Rashin Village is slightly more advanced than Port Town, however it could still be considered rather underdeveloped. The fourth gym is here, one that is based around the sparks of electric types.

Rashin River is what the nearby village of Rashin is named after. It is a pleasent route that hosts quite a few water and shore dwellers.

Route nine is rightly named, for this route is filled with high speed currents that can easily cause your Pokemon (or ship) to drift off course. You need to find some way to navigate them less you be forever trapped in the Sea of Currents. No one knows what exactly creates these currents, but perhaps the answer lies on the island up ahead.

This island actually hosts a small town, though it is probably the smallest one you will ever see in your journeys through Lanorae. Deep inside the caves of this island, a mighty beast is said to dwell, along with many Pokemon. Perhaps this is the beast that causes the savage currents of route nine?

Route ten consists of a large, but beautiful lagoon that is shaped somewhat like a cresent moon. Many different stellar-like water types such as Staryu can be found in these tranquil waters, it is truely one of the more peaceful routes.

Dark City is just that... dark. The people here aren't exactly the friendliest and are rather pale from lack of sunlight, almost like ghosts. Some say this town, like many areas around it, are haunted but that's for you to decide.

The Haunted Downs are usually covered in mist and consist of large hills crowned by teeth-like oblisks. Some say dead are buried here and still haunt the grounds, but these rumors are yet to be proven.

This tower is said to be yet another location of constant hauntings, this time the spirit of a young girl is said to be seen wandering the tiers of the tower. No one is sure if the howling this tower is named after is her, or something else...

Located right next to the Howling Tower, it is quite odd that this village doesn't have hauntings of its own, rather, it actually plays host to the fifth gym. It is believed that the gym leader here is a medium that was once under apprenticeship of the medium of the Elite Four, and therefore protects the city from restless spirits with spiritual powers.

The Eternal Forest stays lush and green all year round, even if snow covers the ground. It is quite odd, for not even fire affects the leafy plants found here, perhaps the guardian of this forest gives the plants this miraculous power of life?

Route twelve starts just beyond the borders of the Eternal Forest, and apparently, away from the life-giving protection the trees hold. For this pass seems to be full of fire, and most of the plants here are charred and dead. Quite a change of scenary.

Earthquakes are said to erupt from the depths of this fiery cave at some points, however, the Pokemon here have learned to adapt. A large Pokemon is said to be the cause of the earthquakes, though as of yet no proof has been found.

Route thirteen surrounds a giant volcano, making it so that its plains are covered in hardened lava. Many fire Pokemon and some of the stronger rock and ground types make their homes here alongside the hardened fire.

The people of Leerah City have adapted nicely to the harsh climate they are settled in. Their skin has darkened due to the heat and they typically wear heat resistant and fire-proof clothing. This is the home of the sixth gym, one that uses the Pokemon of a more fiery element.

Route fourteen is a very fiery route, one on which you should watch where you step. Live lava rivers border the paths and, of course, that means this is a haven for fire type Pokemon.

Indeed a rather dark and forlorn place, the Mount of Mourning looks like it is in fact mourning. It is a dead volcano, one that will never erupt again unless some power re-enacts it. A large dog of fire is said to make this place home, and the volcano was said to become inactive after it was first sighted.

Despite the name, Onyx Village is a little bit too developed to be considered a true village, however, the people here seem to have a fondness of rock-type Pokemon, mainly the Onix. A black Onix is said to live beneath the grounds of this village, hence the name, and it also hosts the world renowned rock museum.

Heiro City is a place that has been completely overlooked by technology. Even the Pokemon Center is old fashioned here and has no advanced technology, but Pokemon are healed just as nicely. Route sixteen is a place where it is necessary for travellers to have eye protection. After all, this valley is the source of blasting sandstorms that can blind those that are not careful. Be on the lookout for Pokemon in the sands, after all, it is easy to hide in such weather.

Glacion Village is a quaint little town that always has merry little fires burning in the windows. There isn't really much to do here, but the young children that make this village their home are always eager to involve passing trainers and their Pokemon in snow wars.

The Crystal Caverns are basically a network of ice covered tunnels that have formed a sort of maze. Many different ice type Pokemon are found within their depths, and it is said to be the home of a powerful lord of ice. Just make sure you don't slip on the way in!

Snowfall Valley, like Glacion Village, is another friendly, snow covered town. Many Delibird seem to enjoy roosting here, unfortunately, they are protected by the town and are not to be captured by anyone. Sometimes they will give passing trainers gifts if they see that you are generally a good-hearted person.

No New Posts Route Eighteen - Abyssal Trench - 1 Viewing

Far below the surface is the Abyssal Trench, a large canyon that lies deep in the frigid waters. A large creature is said to inhabit this trench, and you may go down and try to find it if you wish. However, make sure you and your Pokemon are prepared for the freezing decent. Also make sure that your water type knows Dive, otherwise you would never survive the time it takes to get down.

The peak of this great mountain actually disappears into the clouds above. About half way up the mountain is a large castle that was built as a guard station to something that lives at the very peak. Drahelm city is a place that resembles the cities of the old world, when it was said that dragons ruled the skies and humans fought with spears and bows. Drahelm is the last remaining fortress city of that old age, and is also the home of the eighth, and final gym before the Elite Four. If you defeat the leader here, you will recieve the Dragonscale Badge.

Darshira Tunnel is a very long, winding, and dark tunnel that leads to the Elite Palace. Be cautious as you tread, for extremely powerful Pokemon make this place their home. If you make it out of the mazes, you are now ready to challenge the Elite Four.

The battle SIM arena is a place where, as the name suggests, battle Pokemon. However, they will not be your own, rather they are holographic in a virtual reality program. You will be randomly assigned three different Pokemon, and will battle a computer generated trainer with the same type of Pokemon, just different species. If you manage to triumph, you may very well recieve something worthwhile.

The stadium is a place where trainers can battle other trainers to further enhance their Pokemon's strength and other traits, however, sometimes huge competitions go on here with an amazing prize for the winner. These contests, based upon who enters, can go on for days or weeks, but even if you don't win, your Pokemon gain levels and experience to show for your progress through the ranks.

The PAA is basically a place where abandoned Pokemon stay until a trainer is nice enough to give them a home. The Pokemon here typically are named and have their personalities already decided. You can also abandon one of your Pokemon here if you wish, and hope that someone gives it a better home. The only catch, you must have at LEAST ONE

PokePark is a place where trainers can drop off their Pokemon to relax and get to know the Pokemon of other trainers. Sometimes even Elite Four members will drop their Pokemon off here! There are several areas a Pokemon can explore and meet new friends, along with PokePark natives.
