"ATTENTION, ATTENTION. LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, WE'VE MADE LAND IN LANORAE. WELCOME TO SEASIDE VILLAGE!"
Sparrow cringed and rubbed his head, all the while glaring at the large megaphone in the upper right corner of his cabin furiously. The trip in the dingy boat had been anything but enjoyable; a group of kids had continuously run up and down the halls of the cabin area, screeching and chattering about the newly-discovered region's starter Pokemon, and which they were going to pick. Arguments ensued so many times Sparrow had finally rolled right out of his bed and onto the cold metal floor, seething angrily. He had dragged himself to the door, wrenched it open, and caught a gaggle of ten-year-olds off their guard as they giggled and talked loudly.
'No, I think I'll have a Firecub. They're sooooo adorable!' one of the little girls had sighed; her opinion was immediately contradicted by two other boys.
'Are you kidding? Iglora is the best out of them, obviously!'
'No, the Seaward is!'
Before the argument could have gone further, Sparrow had snarled, 'Shut your mouths, you stupid brats! People are sleeping around here!' so loudly that they each jumped about three feet, and shuffled off, casting frightened looks at the red-eyed whitehead.
'Freak...' one of the boys muttered bravely, at which Sparrow fixed such a look on him that the kid paled, and hurried to get out of sight.

Rubbing the back of his aching neck, Sparrow leapt over the side of the boat before the ropes were tied, and made a beeline for the large building ahead; he sought to get away from the harbor as quickly as possible.
Throwing an indignant look at a small group of shoppers, who were also marveling at his odd features, he hurried up the small hill, already sick of the looks he was being given. Dusting off his jacket and pants quickly, and retying his hair into a neat ponytail, he pushed his bangs aside and knocked on the door sharply a few times, hoping someone would be in at this time of the morning.
