The entire Seaside Village lab seemed to shudder as a loud, threatening roar blasted through the skies. It was filled with feeling, and yet, one could not identify exactly what such a roar could mean. Had the Queen finally arrived?
Murkrow cawed loudly at the roar, their crimson eyes bright, eager, and full of anticipation. She had finally come to them, finally, after fifty years, she was coming again. They knew she was early though, four-hundred and fifty years early to be exact, but, they didn't care, it was a bonus. They would be able to see her in person, the Queen of shadows and the controller of death.
Professor Aspen immediately rose to her feet. Her icy blue eyes ere filled with anticipation as well, though her companion could not see in the pitch blackness of the Twilight. There was only one light that would shine through such darkness, one that the professor had both been yearning to see and yet fearing at the same time. The eyes of the Shadegra....

"Vince, we'd better head down!" the blonde called, leaning closer to the back of his Charizard. "It's too dark now, I can't even see your tail anymore!"
The large, orange dragon nodded his head, arching his back so he began a decent downward, however, the great beast seemed to be distrubed by something. A sudden pickup in the wind, as if there was something, a large flier, close behind them.
The fire type roared his displeasure loudly, beginning to speed towards the ground, faster and faster, folding his wings tightly to his sides and over his rider's legs to keep the teenager from tumbling off his back. He just wanted to get away from that forboding breeze.
"What is it Vince?" the teenager looked slightly confused at his Charizard's sudden reaction and turned around to stare behind them. Red eyes. Burning like flaming coals in the darkness, red eyes on silent wings of darkness were following, silently, close behind. Those eyes were the only thing visible of the creature, the rest of it was enshrouded by shadow and darkness.
Immediately, the blonde turned back around, leaning closer to his Charizard's body. "Speed it up boy!" he called loudly, his hair whipping in front of his amber eyes. "Faster!"
The fire dragon merely roared in agreement and sped up towards the ground, aiming to land among the high grasses of Route One where they could settle down, hidden in the grass and blackness.
One must answer the call...
He must be the one to fall...
For if he refuses the world shall end..
It will merely be a legend...
