"Good work, Hollie. What should we call her?"
Kneeling to pick up the capsule, and tenderly stroking the Seaward at the same time, Elissa thought back to her home. She had named her first Pokemon for her best friend, because their personalities seemed to match. The Murkrow had been easily angered, and seemed to hate losing...
"...Sheridan. Your name is Sheridan."
That decided, she picked the Pokeball up and put it back in her bag, and scooped Hollie up in her arms, before lookign ahead of her. Hopefully, she was near the next town, but it was hard to tell. Shrugging, she kept on walking, humming softly to herself.

A small critter was running through the grasses, stoping here and there to sniff befre going on and on. The purple critter was nothing more than a male Nidoran. The small creature was rummaging around, looking for food and stuff. Above the sky was filled with Murkrows, and it had darkened considerable as well.
"Nido..."
Taking a momentto stop and gaze above the nidoran shivered lightly as he watched the birds above, before shrugging them off and continuing foraging for food. Winter would com soon, and he needed to stock up in order to survive.
Event!
You have spotted a male Nidoran, level 07!

"Aww...how sweet..." Elissa murmured, watching the little creature scuttle from place to place as he sniffed for food. She could almost forget the ominous shadow covering the sky above as she watched the Nidoran, smiling gently.
"Seeeeaward."
Hollie hummed nervously, nudging her trainer's arm - neither she nor Sheridan had enough energy to pull off a battle, not now at least. But surely, the teenager thought to herself, the little Pokemon wouldn't fight them? Surely she could make friends with him, allow him to come with her if he wanted to. And he was so small...if the Murkrow attacked, he didn't look as though he could possibly fend them off. She had barely been able to, after all.
"Just let me try...please?"
With a heavy sigh, Hollie put her head back down and curled up tighter in her trainer's arms, as Elissa approached the small Poison-type.
"Hello there..." she said timidly, eyeing him nervously - what if he did end up attacking? She could never forgive herself if she allowed Hollie to faint, but she could hardly battle him herself.

"Do! Nidoran!"
Startled by the new voice and the approaching girl the Nidoran jumped backwards, his red eyes fixed on the Trainer as he bared those little fangs of his - ears pinned backwards. Still, the small Pokemon did not attack, but merely watched the human cautiously. He had heard of them before... Coniving creatures, monsters even, that trapped Pokemons and forced them to do their bitting. Or so his momma had said.
"Nido... Ran..."
Curiosity was strong, and the small purple critter took a few steps forwards to sniff the girl and Hollie, before jumping backwards again quickly when the faint rustling of grass startled him.
Bless be, what a cautious and skittish Pokemon.

"Eep!"
When the little Poison-type jumped backwards, Elissa did the same, squeaking involuntarily - the sudden movement had startled her. After taking a deep breath, she knelt down, placing Hollie beside her and holding her hands in her lap as she eyed the male Nidoran. He seemed to be just as scared as she was, but you could never be sure with wild Pokemon.
"Hollie, you talk to him..."
{...hello.}
Hollie spoke just as softly as her trainer, in a language that sounded to the teenager like a mixed of jumbled syllables that made no sense whatsoever, but to other Pokemon was a nervous greeting. The serpentine creature watched the Nidoran warily, waiting for him to respond, ready to roll away from a possible attack.

"Ni... Do..."
As the trainer placed her hands on her lap, the Seaward now on he ground along with him, the Nidoran tilted his head ever so slightly - warily watching the water type as she approached. At Hollie's greetings his ears perked up slightly, the Nidoran cautiously edging closer to sniff the other Pokemon. Well, she didn't smelt like danger, or those Murkrows, so maybe this Pokemon was alright?
{Who are you? And what is that thing?}
Of couse, by thing the young Pokemon meant Hollie's human trainer: Elissa.

{My name is Hollie...I think. And that thing is my friend...I think her name is...Elissa? I do not know. I do know that she won't hurt you. We're both really tired...a Murkrow swooped on us.}
Hoping that the Nidoran would believe her, the Seaward watched the purple Pokemon sniff her cautiously, carefully adjusting her weight from flipper to flipper as she waited. The stinging sensation on her belly reminded her of the recent battle she had had, causing her to wince. Elissa remained silent, something that she was very good at, as she watched the two Pokemon conversing, wishing that she knew what they were saying.

{Oh! They attacked you too?!}
The small Pokemon's ears perked up at the mention of the Murkrows, a shiver running down his spine. Wow! This Seaward had fended off one of those mean and nasty birds? Perhaps Hollie and this human weren't so bad after all...
{And you managed to defeat it? Wow, you must be strong then!!}
Young ones, so easily amused over everything...

The Seaward giggled nervously as she blushed slightly, obviously enjoying the attention as she replied modestly - after all, it wasn't as amazing as the small Poison-type was making it out to be.
{It was hard battling it. I'm really tired now; I hope we get to the next town soon,} she murmured, looking at the ground. {I'm not that strong - that was my first ever battle.}

{That was your first battle? And you defeated that Murkrow!!! Wow!!!}
It was clear that, though this Nidoran had fought before, he had clearly lost to quite a few of those black birds. So knowing that Hollie had defeted one on her first try was simply amazing for him. Hearing her hext comment, though, the Pokemoin perked up his ears before rushing off.
{Don't move! Be right back!}
A few moments later he returned, a Meowth weakly following behind the poison type. She was rather small and weak looking, plus scratches and bruises were all over her body. Spotting the trainer and her Pokemon the feline hissed, glaring at her friend.
{Why did you brought be here?} {She defeated one of those asty Murkrows! And they are going to the Pokemon Center... Maybe we can go with them, and you can get cured?}
The feline hissed, obviously displeased at the idea of going along with a trainer, though her hisses soon turned to a soar cough - a sign that her health was really deteriorated. If this feline wasn't convinced to go soon to a Pokemon Center she might as well becomre Murkrow food in the next days. But she wouldn't go willingly, and the Midoran was concious of this. Still, for her small size and lower level this feline was a strong battler - and she had even managed to defeat high leveled Murkrows to defend her friend. Now it was his turn to help her - and the Nidoran believed Hollie could be the key to their success.
{Hollie... Would you please hae your trainer catch her and take her to a Pokemon Center? She won't go along willingly... But she might die if she doesn't go...}
It was cear the Nidoran felt as though he was betraying his friend, his voice sounded so hurt and sorrowful. Still, this was for the best. Hearing him the Meowth hissed again, fur bristling as she glared at the Seaward now. She was not going down, not without a fight.
"Mreooowth!"
And so she started, trying to aim a Hypnosis at the Starter pokemon. An egg move, perhaps? It was a rare thing, indeed, though perhaps Hollie would be able to avoid the induced Sleep effect it had.
Event!
Wild female Meowth is attacking, level 04!
