"Lanorae Region... Let's see what you have to offer."
The female smirked softly, delicate lips pulled at the ends to maintain this gesture, while she made her way to the Diamond Headquarters. It wasn't that easy to find, though the female did have... 'Connections' of her own that she could use. Eventually she did come across the place, amber orbs gazing at the building for a few seconds and taking it all in. She was tired of the whole Trainer/Coordinator routine. Get a Pokemon, catch and train, train some more, Gyms, keep on training, Contest, train, train, train, Pokemon League, train more, Mega Contest, done. Repeat. The idea of an 'evil' team sounded tempting - but more in the sense of taking over it rather than being bossed about.
Sure, she'd have to start on the bottom of the food chain. But hey, didn't everything start there? She'd just work her way up the evolution scale until she became the top predator. Easy, right.
"This should be amusing..."
Plus, that Procyn starter was simply and absolutely adorable to her. Though those Houndours and Mawiles were tempting.
"I can always catch a few of those later, though."
An electric fence surrounded the black building, the female rolling her eyes as she went on. Really, did they expect people to be stupid enough as to touch that fence? Soon she was at the Lab, and the girl allowed herself right in without asking. Inside it was dim, with a technological theme to it - basically. Black tiles, numerous machines and who knew what else was there. She was sorely tempted to touch the buttons of a nearby one, but relented against it.
She wasn't a kid anymore, after all.
"Oi! Is this place abandoned or what? I'm here for a starter, and I want to see the Procyns you might have in stock. Maybe some shinies, or something?"
Her tones were quite stable, if not somewhat demanding, as the dirty blond female closed the door behind her, a foot tapping impatiently on the black tiles below it.

'<I'd watch how you address the leader, missy...>' a low growl came from the shadows, and the form of a Manectric could faintly be seen in the darkness, not to mention it was almost pitch black outside so that merely added to how dark it was.
'<Yes, he does not take kindly to that kind of attitude...>' another growl came, this one male, and a faint, flickering electric light could be seen sparking upon the dark fur of a Luxray nearby, probably, like the Manectric, another guard-type Pokemon that watched the lab. "Hush it, both of you..." an elevator shaft in the back had just opened, revealing a tall man with black and purple hair and a black trench coat. He had rather cold purple eyes, and a Lucario stood at his side, a slim scar spreading over one of its eyes. Apparently, the man was its trainer along with being the trainer of the Manectric and Luxray, for both electric types immediately went silent. "What do you want... if you're lost go and bother a police station and don't waste my time..." apparently he had not heard Yuri's demand of a Procyn, having been on the floor above, and simply crossed his arms, looking rather annoyed. He didn't like visitors, even if they were new recruits, and he wished that Team Diamond could actually hold a professor, but, for some reason the old coots seemed to run off at whatever chance they got... "Well? Speak up girl, or get out..." definately not the friendliest man. He was rather young, maybe early thirties at most, but he seemed to have the impatience of an old trainer, and apparently his Pokemon were the same. All three, the Lucario, Manectric, and Luxray, were growling loudly, a warning.

<I'd watch how you address the leader, missy...> <Yes, he does not take kindly to that kind of attitude...>
The Manectric was the first to speak and become visible, closely followed by a Luxray. The female could identify their genders, even if she couldn't fully see them, by the tones held in their words. A faint smirk crossed her features as the blond watched both Pokemons - completely unphased by their appearance.
"Your point is? Whether he likes my attitude or not is not my concern - as long as I do a job well done he can do nothing to me in return."
If they had expected the female to quiver and crumple in feat then both pokemon had sorely been mistaken about Yuri. And the female would have gone on, but she now notices the door to an elevator open (an elevator she had missed to notice earlier) to reveal a man and his Lucario. By the looks of him and the way the Pokemons obeyed him the female came to quick conclusions: he was the Leader of Team Diamond, and their trainer.
"Hush it, both of you... What do you want... if you're lost go and bother a police station and don't waste my time... Well? Speak up girl, or get out..." "Girl?"
The nineteen year old arched a delicate and fine eyebrow, amber eyes now fixed in a cold glare to the ebony and purple haired man. She, a girl. Miss, or woman, or lady would have been acceptable. But girl? She decided to let it go, though her expression surely spoke enough and the necessary info for the other to pick up on her train of thought. No nineteen year old liked to be adressed as a child.
"As I mentioned before to your two lovely companions down here, I am here for a Procyn and wish to see those you may have here in stock before I make my pick - including any shinies, if there are any about. Surely such a magnificent Team must have one of these rare beauties..."
An just like before, neither her pose nor voice faltered from their dominant and secure position and tones. She was Yurishia Sakazami, she had traveled around Regions on her own before, she worked for herself and to herself alone - she would not bend nor bow to another. Sure, for now she would follow instructions - but the Leader should keep in mind she wouldn't be treated like a mere child or anything below what she rightfully deserved.

It was Kanaye's turn to raise an eyebrow, fixing his bright, violet eyes on the woman in front of him. The tone she spoke in... though the words were quite respectful that tone, to him anyway, wasn't exactly one he would associate with respect. His Lucario too raised an eyebrow in Yuri's direction, twitching its tail slightly and exchanging glances with the Manectric and Luxray. Neither of them looked exactly eager about this new recruit, really, the Manectric looked about ready to nip at her heel.
"As I mentioned before to your two lovely companions down here, I am here for a Procyn and wish to see those you may have here in stock before I make my pick - including any shinies, if there are any about. Surely such a magnificent Team must have one of these rare beauties..."
"We do..." said the man simply. "A fair many of them, we have a private breeder that keeps the supply of shinies strong, however, they are reserved for the sons and daughters of already loyal Team Diamond agents, we've had problems before with new recruits recieving a shiny and thn letting their loyalties waver..." His eyes shifted to one of the many shelves that decorated the lab. "It was one of our previous professors that gave that trainer a shiny Pokemon, but, I guess you can say he is no longer a problem... we do not take disloyalty kindly here... right Ryau?"
The Lucario nodded slowly, red eyes narrowed and arms crossed. With the added effect of his scarred eye, the Lucario looked quite fearsome, and a powerful fighter, one that you would not want to get on the bad side of.
"However, I do believe it would be a waste of my time to show you all the Procyns, we have dozens of them, if you narrow down your desires perhaps I can show you a few that come at least close..." Kanaye seemed to have calmed down slightly and was now leaning against one of the dark mahogeny desks, his pale, slim face framed with two locks of black and purple hair. Really, one could think he was quite an attractive man... if you got by his rather snide personality...
'<Not to mention the trainer that ran off with the shiny got what was coming to him...>' the Manectric gave a rather cruel grin. '<I'm not even sure if he's out of that electricity induced coma yet...>' OoC:o.O Evil Sanga... sheesh, she isn't normally that vicious sounding...

"Reverved for the off springs of loyal agents, you say? But really, doe being the son or daughter of one of your top and loyal agents guarantee that child won't later rebel against you? After all, they might fuel in their own greed, thinking thy come from a high part of the organization already, and seek out for more - plotting in the process for your downfall. Of course, this is all just theory..."
The female replied in a calm tone, her amber gaze fixed on the male and his Lucario - while their someowhat slightly puzzle look from before still played vividly in her mind. She could already sense it in the air - the Manectric wasn't fond of her at all already. Ah well, she'd live over it - after all, Yuri wasn't a $100 pokeyen for every one to like her inmediately. Nor was she a Pokemon's favorite poke treat, or food.
"However, I do believe it would be a waste of my time to show you all the Procyns, we have dozens of them, if you narrow down your desires perhaps I can show you a few that come at least close..." "Yes, if you do have that many it would be a waste of time. So just surprise me -bring out five Procyns that you think are ready for a trainer. I'll take my pick from them. And if you could bring one, or two, shinies,I would be very much delighted and thankful."
And all through this her tones never shifted nor swayed, the female herself asumming a relaxed position as she allowed herself to sit at the corner of an empty table, close to one of the many machieneries. Upon closer inspection the female decided this Leader was kind of cute, if not somewhat misterious and shadowy. 'Pity... To think I'll have to dethrone him to gain my own desires...' Ah well, all was fair in love and war... Or something like that they said.
<Not to mention the trainer that ran off with the shiny got what was coming to him... I'm not even sure if he's out of that electricity induced coma yet...> "You don't say... I'm guessing you and your companon here were the responsables for such an excellent jod then?"
((I'm loving Yuri in this Region already. XDD))

"If I say something I stay with it..." said Kanaye smoothly, tilting his head so his purple eyes flashed from beneath his black and purple hair. "Shinies are reserved... maybe if you prove yourself to be a loyal member you can have one to raise alongside your starter, but my agents usually don't recruit their children unless they're positive they would make loyal members... and if not, well, one of my Pokemon generally takes care of them... I don't like Team Diamond's secrets spilled..."
Kanaye's Lucario merely nodded at the comment and strode briskly to a shelf from which he carefully picked up five Pokeballs before flinging them out onto the floor. In a flash of light, which was dimmed considerably by the darkness outside, five of the raccoon-like Pokemon appeared.
All of them bore the normal coloring of a Procyn, though two of them seemed to be extremely hyperactive, chittering to each other loudly and jumping about as if they had just eaten a bag of sugar. One of the remaining three seemed somewhat quiet and removed, cowering especially from the two electric types that stood near Yuri. The remaining two were growling at each other, showing their teeth and raising their fur, as if they were ready to attack.
"See any you like?" Kanaye said simply, quite obviously not really caring. The Procyn were pretty much worthless to him until their trainers made them stronger.
"You don't say... I'm guessing you and your companon here were the responsables for such an excellent jod then?"
'<Yes, we were as a matter of fact...>' said the Luxray, his voice just as smooth as his trainer's. '<I must really give Sanga most of the credit though, her Thunder is one of the most powerful and most beautiful I've seen...>' '<Why, thank you Rakku>' the Manetric grinned, showing her fangs.[/sup]

"Ah well, never mind it then. I'm not interesting in raising a second one after I get my partner. I'll just get another Pokemon that is shiny, no harm done."
She didn't need his 'pity', nor did she needed to 'prove her loyalties' to anyone - and Yuri would not be bribed with the chance of perhaps owning a future shiny Procyn if Kanaye felt like it. As th Lucario released th five rodents the female stood silent for a moment, observing each. Two were hyper as they could be, the other two were battling over every little thing. And then there was one that was quiet and reserved - not to mention cowering from the two big electric types that were nearby.
"Well, hello there."
She commented, kneeling down before the small Raccoon Pokemon and smiling softly. A hand reached out, petting its head softly, before the female stood again - motioning with a small nod to the Lucario she'd be taking that Procyn, no questions asked.
<Yes, we were as a matter of fact... I must really give Sanga most of the credit though, her Thunder is one of the most powerful and most beautiful I've seen...> <Why, thank you Rakku.>
"Sanga and Rakku, eh? Interesting names, I like it. Judging by the looks and fit-looking appearance of you, my dear Sanga, I'm sure that was quite the Thunder attack - if even Rakku here was stunt and impressed. I'm guessing you aren't easily impressed, right?"
To be honest the female was having more fun talking with the Pokemon than paying attention to te Leader himself. After all, she always did felt better around them - plus getting to know small hints to heir strengths and weaknesses would prove helpful in the long run. For, if she wanted to take over Team Diamond one day, sh would surely find herself in a battle with the two - and it would do to know what to use exactly against them. 'All is fair in love and war... Or so a few say.'

Kanaye raised an eyebrow as his Lucario sent him a glance that told the female had made her decision. "Very well..." he said simply, picking up the Pokeball of the nervous Procyn and tossing it lightly at Yuri.
"I expect you to do as I say, when I say it, no questions asked..." he continued. "That is the vow you take by accepting this Procyn as a starter...." His Lucario nodded simply in agreement before tossing a bag of items to Yuri's side as well.
Name: -Your Choice- Gender: -Your Choice- Level: 5 Attacks: Personality: Rather skittish and nervous around other Pokemon, especially if the said Pokemon is bigger than it is. It also has a habit of clinging to its trainer whenever something 'scary' happens. Experience Points: 0 Hold Item: None
Empty Pokeball x5 Super Potion x5 Full Heal x5 Revival Herb x3 Blackglasses x1 1000£

'<Of course not...>' said the Luxray simply, flicking his tail. He brushed against Sanga's side, giving her a soft lick on the cheek. Apparently, they were a couple. [/sup]

"Yeah, yeah, whatever you say... Oh, thank you 'Rio."
The female grinned, nodding to the Lucario as he set the items - which she stored in her back pack. Then she turned to the small Procyn, petting his head softly. The little critter immediately leapt up - jumping to the girl's arms ad clinging there to her. Bless the thing, so cute.
"Well hello there."
She then stood, looking over to Rakku as he spoke, before watching the Luxray and Magnetric share some affection between them both. 'Heh, how cute. They make a nice couple... I'll feel bad when I have to beat them to take Kanaye's place. Ah well, it can't be helped...'

"Feel free to leave when you wish..." Kanaye said simply, turning and striding quickly towards the elevator that lead back upstairs, leaving his Lucario, Sanga, and Rakku down below.
The Lucario scoffed slightly. '<My name's Ryau, not Rio....>' he said coldly, his scarred eye flashing before he turned and followed after his master. You may now move on to Route One![/sup]

"Really? Mmm... Almost nailed it. Ah well, lucky guess I suppose."
The female shrugged, looking as the Lucario followed his master before turning to the other two. The Procyn in her arms shivered lightly at their sight, though the girl simply smiled lightly.
"Well, you two take care now. Farewell."
And with that Yuri and Skittles were gone, off to mob someone.
