The feat the Iglora was about to perform was huge. No, stupendous. The Pokemon, who was afraid of his own shadow, none the less a huge snake Pokemon. Sevipers also didn't have the best reputation around, as they had gigantic, bared fangs all the time, more menacing then an angry Jigglypuff, which was pretty scary.
Iggy was becoming more like his trainer, always giving second thoughts after he had jumped into a situation. Maybe he really should turn around, just walk away, Max wouldn't think any less of him. When he was dropped off this morning, Max had told him he didn't have to do anything he didn't want to, but Iggy felt he needed to get Max something. Just a little thing would be perfect.
Encountering the cave entrance, the decision was now. If he did chicken out, it didn't matter what Max thought, that cute Firecub was watching, and he didn't want to disappoint. So, with all is courage, his measly courage, the Grass Pokemon stepped into the cave.
The dampness was the first thing you would notice as you walked in, but the sight of the larger than life snake also didn't help out either. But, what did the Seviper really look like?

The large snake was coiled tightly around a mound of items, snoring softly as it slept on. So far, it hadn't even twitched at the entry of the Iglora, that was probably a good sign. Its body was long, and black-scaled, however, unlike a normal Seviper, it had lime green markings and long, deep blue fangs. A shiny.
The pile it had coiled itself around was filled with items: Pokeballs, TMs, Potions, Revives, just about anything, including the eggs of other Pokemon. It was just the temptation for any treasure hunter. Would Iggy prove to be daring enough to brave the great serpent to retrieve an item? [/sup]

The Seviper hadn't twitched at all, and it's odd markings told Iggy tha tit just wasn't normal. Who knew if shinies were more aggressive than there normal colored counterparts. Either way, it was a Seviper, and they are usually vey aggressive. Swallowing, it felt like a ten ton brick, and sneaking forward ever so slightly, he soon arrived at the pile of junk. But the question still remained, would he be suicidal enough to take something from the heavily guarded pile.
Hoping that nothing would happen to his little Iglora body, his tiny arms slowly reached forward. But would he find anything, or just come up with a faceful of burning poison. [/sub]

The Seviper remained sleeping quite soundly, its body only shifting as it breathed. It apparently was in an extremely deep sleep and therefore did not notice the Iglore reaching out for its pile out items.
The first thing that the Iglore touched happened to be a large, multi-diamond-shaped item. A Max Revive. Best take it before the Seviper awakes!
You grabbed a Max Revive! Better take it and run! [/sup]

Mission accomplished. The little green Pokemon could barely believe his eyes when he pulled out a Max Revive. He had done it. He had braved that snake, even though he had done nothing heroic but sneak up and take something. The thought of being a thief crossed his head, but only slightly. Max would be so proud of Iggy, Iggy just knew it. And that Firecub would be in awe when the Raptor Pokemon walked out with the shiny diamond.
The thought that the snake might wake up and smother him with poison made Iggy decide now was the time to leave. He would come back later. He would try again another day, now that he knew he could do it. {}{}(: This thread will be handled for all of Iggy's adventures into the Seviper Hoard. [/sub]
