Okay, these are the basic rules that you SHOULD know but some people need a reminder so still read them even if you do. There will also be stuff you maybe don't know, so get reading!
.:What Will Happen If You Break A Rule:.
Okay, depending upon what you did the warnings won't be TOO bad, unless you do something serious. However, we will have a warning system and if you reach 100% warning then you will be temporarily banned, whether that be a week or a month is for me to decide if the time comes.
Also, you will be notified of what you did wrong. We aren't tyrants here, so we will prove that we are fair! However, don't argue, like saying you didn't do so and so. We are honest and don't want to ban our members, so why would we purposely give you a warning without reason?
.:The Basic Rules:.
1.) Be nice to everyone and no arguing. This is one of the most basic of the basic rules. Don't be mean to someone, it makes them feel bad and we don't want anyone to feel bad so be nice. Also, no arguing. It spams up the boards and the c-box and is just a nuisance. Some of the things I don't want to be said to ANYONE (besides in character, that can be accepted to an extent) are: "Dang, you suck!" "Shut the heck up idiot!" "You're artwork belongs in a dump!" Stuff to that extent, you get the picture. Depending on what you say, your warnings can extend to 5% to even 20% (for extremely bad stuff).
2.) Be as literate as possible! Okay, I understand that the chances are no one's going to be a college English professor. I'd be extremely surprised is someone was. However, this means don't use chatspeak while you're roleplaying, or type like someone who's just started using a keyboard. Also, keep capitalization where it's supposed to be. Don't use all caps unless your character's yelling or something. If you constantly type so that no one can read anything, you will get warned: 5% every post if it continues after you have been told to stop.
3.) No stealing! This is one of the worst, absolutely worst offences, at least I consider it. This means, no claiming someone's artwork or stories as your own. We will find out if you did and if anyone here suspects someone stole your artwork please contact me immediately. Also, no stealing histories, descriptions, or anything like that. If you want to roleplay, at least be creative enough to think up your own stuff! If you do steal ANYTHING, I don't care if you alter it or anything it's still stealing, you will recieve a 50% warning, no questions asked. Also, the custom sprites that are here are NOT to be used on other sites! I will not give permission for you to use them, so I don not want them used unless you are a close friend that I've been roleplaying with for a while.
However, there are some exceptions. If you altered something with the ORIGINAL OWNER's permission, and give them credit for it, that is okay. Anything else, no.
4.) I reserve the right to create more to these three basic rules if I see fit. More than likely I will think up a few more things. Co-admins and mods are welcome to add anything they think needs added.
